I'm pressed for time these days and can't do a full album review. But I just wanted to make a quick post about how great I think The Little Ones are. In my opinion there's a shortage of acts that are as vibrant and joyful as this pop quintet, and most 'pop' music found on the East or West side is comparable.A few years back I accidentally saw them open for Division Day at Little Pedro's (now Bordello) -- some Nintendo 'Tetris' tournament coincided with the gig. Back then they were called 'Little One' and pulled off a short set of bouncy, infectious pop that would eventually become their debut EP. They made it look too easy, and sound too good, especially for a group that was pretty much unknown at the time. What can I say, I'm just stoked that this record is finally seeing the light of day.
